“To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don’t need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself.” —Thich Nhat Hanh (via couragehopestrength)

well in very broad terms I am looking for happiness and peace within me but I am not quite what will make me happy

Are you not happy or at peace? Why? Is it missing from your life you think? Happiness is merely a state of being. If you can smell a flower and smile you are in a state of happiness. If you can feel the breeze on your skin and giggle happiness becomes you.

Peace is what we all carry everywhere we go. All one has to do is quiet the rambling mind and ease your breathing, your inner peace will rise and remind you it is always with you.

Most of us are seeking the very thing that we are before we start thinking and making situations complicated for our selfs- peace and balance.  To be in the ‘now’ as much as you can is where you will find both and much much more.

You are beautiful and divine as you are. You do not have to say a word, perform an act, or live up to someone else’s expectations to be beautiful. Acknowledge this universal truth.

Be simply you and be all of you. That is why you are here. Share this with others. When they can appreciate your uniqueness you will become happy in return.

“Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again. And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, the way you move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel? You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children.” —Pablo Picasso (via venebelle)

How can you open you heart to the meanest of people?

The first thing to do is to have a proper perspective of what creates these so called  ’mean people’ and understand why they could use more patience and care in their lives from others that are capable and willing to supply it.

There are questions. What causes someone to become mean? Would they choose to be mean if they had a clear choice not to?

Looking from the outside in, we can say ‘mean people’ are often seen expressing various levels of dissatisfaction in their speech and actions. They tend to be frustrated, burdened, hurt, and traumatized by the way they perceived situations that happened to them in their past.

These people are experiencing imbalance. Many may feel like the world or life is against them and being ‘mean’ is a mode of protection from further hurt. By being ‘mean’ we are really only hurting ourselves more, it’s like gripping a hot coal with the intent to throw it. The coal is vexation which can only continuously harm its creator.

In all trueness, these are the very same people that are just hurting inside and are desparately crying out to be loved and cared for. We are talking about people like you and me that are in a state of suffering and perhaps alienation. These individuals feel like they have been abused, used, abandoned, or mislead to some degree or another.

If you can look into their eyes and only their eyes you will see pain or sorrow masked by a face of frustration or anger. They do not wish to be in this way either do you. The best thing you can do is pray for them. Pray for their well-being with your mind and heart surround their body with a golden plume and pray for them, include your self in the prayer.

We have come together here at this earth level to assist the poor and also to help to enrich each others lives exponentially. Everyone seeks to exist in continual happiness, no one person wishes to be left without love. We all want this all around the world. This is something we all have had in common with one another throughout time.

I hope someday I can meet you in real life :-)

I do too. I feel like we have so much in common. It would be so nice to meet and chat face to face one day. As long as there is life there is hope. Now I have one more hope to live for. Thank you.
